Economists for Peace and Security (EPS) is pleased to share that Professor Adem Elveren has been voted in as the newest EPS Fellow.
“Over the past decade, my focus has been on studying the impact of military spending on the economy, with a recent emphasis on its effects on gender inequality. My long-term objective is to further delve into this specific research direction, as I believe the connection between militarization and gender inequality is crucial but has not received enough attention.”
