Lucy Law Webster has been an active supporter of EPS since she reached the UN mandatory retirement age where she was a political affairs officer in charge of two UN disarmament publications that both sent disarmament news in English, French and Spanish to NGOs and governments worldwide. Earlier, at the UN, she worked as Special Assistant to the Secretary General of the 2nd World Congress to Combat Racism, which was held in Geneva at a time when apartheid was a serious threat to peace and security.
Both before and after her UN work, Lucy has been active in the World Federalist Movement, from the time she was in high school and college and attended the World Assembly of Youth in Singapore in 1954, and then filled some 100 speaking engagements in the towns and cities that had sponsored her trip around the world.
