Session 1: U.S. Industrial Policy and Implications for Clean Energy and the Economy
The Inflation Reduction Act, the CHIPS and Science Act, and Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act are part of a transformative new American industrial policy under the Biden administration. This panel will examine the impact of these policies, particularly with respect to the development of clean energy, manufacturing, and economic investment and the economy in Texas, the United States, and globally.

Session Two: Ukraine: Paying for War Costs and Reconstruction
This panel will examine several aspects of the situation in Ukraine in terms of finance and the economy. Panelists will discuss paying for the war Ukraine and reconstruction; the role of the US and European Community, multilateral institutions and the private sector; the impact of sanctions on Russia, and expected future costs related to warfighting, stabilization, peacekeeping and reconstruction.
